Marie Curie Cancer Care is looking for people in Otley to help organise the charity’s annual Great Daffodil Appeal at supermarkets and venues in the area.
Collection organisers will organise the rota, book in and confirm collectors, drop off the collecting materials at the supermarket and then count and bank the money at the end.
Katie Grinter, community fundraiser for the area, said: “We’re looking for collection organisers to help us specifically with our collections in Otley.
“To have a volunteer to help with one or two store collections makes a really big difference – our volunteers have fun whilst collecting and it raises money for local cancer care. The role is flexible, running from February until April, and full training and support will be given.”
