A craft workshop is being launched in Horsforth so that people with disabilities can help disabled people in Africa.
Susie Hart – the founder of Craft Aid International – is setting up the craft workshop from Friday, January 10. It will run from 10am to noon on Friday mornings in the Parish Centre.
Susie wants to hear from anyone aged 18 and over who has a disability and who would like to get involved in making goods to raise money for disabled people in Africa. She is also looking for volunteers to help run the workshops.
Craft skills are not necessary as training will be given. Anyone interested can contact Susie Hart on (01423) 202734 or contact Tracey Wright at traceywright@live.co.uk or on (0113) 275 6474 mobile 07939 535765.
