Young models are preparing to take part in a fashion show to raise money for sick children.

Thirty youngsters have been chosen for the Styles for Smiles event to be held at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on February 28.

The show will raise money for the charity Bethany’s Smile, which was set up by Horsforth schoolgirl Bethany Hare to help children with chronic illness or short-life expectancy.

The child models, all chosen from Scalakids Performing Arts, will appear in the event organised in conjunction with the Leeds Fashion Show.

Bethany’s mum Yvonne said: “Bethany is excited and honoured to be working with Leeds Fashion Show again in planning this event and also to be working with renowned choreographer Louise Denison, who will be choreographing Styles For Smiles 2014 too.”

The event will include stalls, which can be booked in return for a donation of £20 to Bethany’s Smile.  Tickets for the show will be £15 each, e-mail bethanyssmile@virginmedia.com for details of where to buy them.

Bethany’s Smile has just been chosen by Cookridge Hall health and fitness club as its charity of the year.
