A fundraising buy-a-brick scheme has already brought in thousands of pounds towards new facilities at Ilkley Rugby Club.
The club launched the appeal earlier this month in a bid to raise £15,000 towards its £130,000 project to create a fitness and rehabilitation suite at its Stacks Field ground, Denton Road.
Supporters across the community can have a brick dedicated to them or a person of their choice in exchange for £100 of sponsorship. The brick will have a name printed onto it as a lasting reminder of the individual or business contribution to the club.
The buy-a-brick scheme has already raised more than £4,000, and another £5,000 has been promised. Bricks are still available to sponsor. Contact Richard Scargill on 07504 859551 or e-mail him on richard@richardscargill.co.uk for details.
