Northern Ballet’s leading dancers took to the runway at Leeds Bradford Airport to celebrate the release of its latest production, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Newlyweds Hannah Bateman and Kenneth Tindall flew on honeymoon from the airport to Heathrow, before catching a connection to Singapore. The British Airways flight tickets were donated to Northern Ballet to celebrate the launch of the airline’s route to Heathrow Terminal 5 and connections worldwide.
Kenneth, a premier dancer and Hannah, a leading soloist met when they were both students at Central School of Ballet in London. They began dating when they performed together at Israel Ballet before joining Northern Ballet a decade ago.
Tony Hallwood, Leeds Bradford Airport’s marketing director, said: “We are extremely lucky to have Northern Ballet based in Leeds. The company is known internationally and has a global stage. We are delighted that British Airways helped to assist Hannah and Kenneth’s honeymoon plans and we wish them success every with the premiere of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
