An organisation which helps the elderly and needy in Yeadon held an autumn fayre and coffee morning on Saturday.
Yeadon Charities Association, which traces its history back more than 100 years, organises the annual senior citizens outing to the coast. It also makes annual donations to care homes and residential homes as well as helping needy individuals. Its main fund raising event is the annual pantomime at the Town Hall.
Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland was one of those attending Saturday’s event.
He said: “As ever Yeadon Charities Association laid on a very enjoyable Autumn Fayre and Coffee Morning in the magnificent Yeadon Town Hall.
“They do a wonderful job raising money for local good causes and bringing the community together in Yeadon.”
