Children of all ages can become time detectives with hands-on archaeological fun at the Manor House Museum, Ilkley, on Saturday.
Everyone is invited to have a go at Kidz Digz, see a flint knapper at work and learn about the rock art of Rombalds Moor.
The free event is being organised by the Watershed Landscape project, managed by Pennine Prospects, and is in celebration of the project being awarded a Laureate in the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage Europa Nostra Awards 2013.
It is also being run as part of the Council for British Archaeology’s Festival of British Archaeology.
