Pupils (and head) enjoy tasty contest
All Saints Primary School in Ilkley celebrated Fairtrade Fortnight with a spectacular and delicious Fairtrade bake-off competition.
Fairtrade ingredients were used to produce tasty cakes, buns and biscuits.
The winners were Reception class and class 6B.
Headteacher and judge, Michele Robinson, thoroughly enjoyed tasting all the entries.
She said: “It was the yummiest morning I have had in a long time and I can’t wait until next year.”
The exercise helped to focus the pupils on the necessity to source ethical products and support the Fairtrade movement.
