Garages are popular targets for Wharfedale burglars

Burglaries proved to be the most frequent crime in the Pool-in-Wharfedale, Bramhope and Arthington areas last month.
New crime statistics for February show there were six break-ins, including three to garages on Arthington Lane, Pool, where the padlocks were cut through, but in each case nothing was taken.
Other incidents included a power washer and bicycle being stolen from a property on Parklands, after the lock had been removed, and another bicycle was stolen from an unsecured garage on Sandy Walk. There was only one report of criminal damage, on Wharfe Crescent, Pool, where a quarterlight window was smashed overnight.
The sole incident of theft from a motor vehicle involved a car on Otley Road, Bramhope, which had a window smashed and property stolen.
Aireborough & Wharfedale Neighbourhood Policing Team says it will soon be addressing speeding concerns again, with officers using a Speed Indication Device on various roads in Bramhope and Pool.
