METHODIST CHURCH: Sunday last was the church anniversary and the morning service was led by Philip Maud, of Horsforth, and was attended by the uniformed organisations. There was no evening service. The Church Council will meet tonight. The monthly Celebration Cafe will be open on Saturday afternoon. The services on Sunday will be led in the Morning by the Rev Fiona Spandler and will include holy communion and at night there will be a circuit service at Pool Methodist Church.
ST JOHN’S CHURCH: This Sunday is our Mother’s Day and annual joint service. This means the service time is different from most weeks and will take place at 10.15am. All ladies will receive a posy of daffodils to take home. St John’s would like to invite you to an evening of inspiring and uplifting music with Danny Gough and friends on Saturday at 7.30pm in the church hall. Tickets are £1 and include tea, coffee and snacks. All proceeds will be going to the Bradford Children's Hospital charity. Donations will be invited on the night.
