Garden expert gives Ilkley talk

Gardening expert, Joe Maiden, will speak at Christchurch, The Grove, Ilkley, on Thursday, March 21 at 7pm.
Mr Maiden is a well known gardener, horticulturist, author and presenter of a light hearted and informative Sunday morning show with Tim Crowther on BBC Radio Leeds.
His talk in Ilkley will be in aid of Christchurch’s Raise the Roof appeal which aims to repair the holes in the Victorian church’s roof to maintain it as a vibrant community building and a place of worship.
Tickets are £6 and can be bought from Christchurch Café (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, or Saturday, 10am to noon) or by telephoning the office on (01943) 603209.
