Bradford City’s Capital One Cup heroes visited an Ilkley designer men’s clothing shop last week to collect their Wembley suits.
The League Two side has signed a sponsorship deal with bespoke tailoring firm Simon Carter, of London, whose customers have included A-listers Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr, Jack White and Jonathan Ross.
Members of Phil Parkinson’s squad were measured for outfits ahead of their cup final clash against Premier League Swansea on Sunday.
On Thursday three of the players accompanied manager Phil Parkinson and his assistant Steve Parkin to Simon Carter’s in Crescent Courtyard, Ilkley, to collect them.
Mr Parkinson said: “I’m so pleased that a strong brand such as Simon Carter has offered to kit out the lads with such a great quality tailoring.
“This is a momentous occasion for both club and community.”
The Ilkley shop was opened by Julie and Chris Ogden at the end of October 2012.
Mr Ogden said: “To be able to supply the Bradford City team with the cup final suits, shoes and accessories has capped a very eventful first six months of trading.”
