Raise your glasses as Ilkley beer festival returns for fourth year

Beer connoisseurs will be back in Ilkley today and tomorrow to sample real ales, ciders and perrys at the annual Ilkley Beer Festival.

Ilkley Round Table’s fourth beer festival will take over the King’s Hall and Winter Garden, Station Road, raising thousands of pounds for local good causes.

More than 100 beers, from breweries in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Cheshire, Sussex, Cumbria, Suffolk, Oxfordshire, Shropshire, Cornwall, Scotland and Wales are expected at the festival, along with a selection of ciders and perrys.

Although all advance tickets for the festival have sold out, a limited number of tickets, £5 per person (cash and over-18s only), will be available on the door tomorrow evening, on Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.

Ticket price includes entry into the festival, a programme and glass.

The sessions take place at the following times: Friday evening, 5.30pm until 11pm; Saturday afternoon, 11am until 4pm; and Saturday evening, 5pm until 11pm.

A corporate session for the sponsors of the event takes place tomorrow afternoon.
