Otley Pub Club in appeal for funds

Otley Pub Club is hoping the town’s businesses will help it bring in more funds to continue campaigning work.
The group is aiming to launch an “ale trail” leaflet at Easter but needs help financing this and other initiatives designed to support Otley inns.
Club chairman Peter Jackson hopes local firms will provide assistance by taking out adverts on its 75-page website.
He said: “Since being founded in 2009, Otley Pub Club has been mostly self-funding but we have grown in stature and are increasingly in demand as a voice for the town.
“This means that, along with projects such as the ale trail and our involvement in the Victorian Fayre, we have to bring in external funding and we hope that the local business community will support us.”
