A Lawson & Son, from Arthington, featured prominently at the monthly Craven Dairy Auctions at Skipton Auction Mart.
There was a tidy entry of 26 head of both newly-calved and in-calf cattle forward for the first show of the year.
All found a ready ringside of buyers.
A Lawson & Son presented two pedigree newly-calved heifers, which were sold for £2,350 and £2,150.
The former was bought by R Metcalfe, of Gargrave, while the latter went to P Crabtree & Son, of Clifton, Otley.
In the New Year prime cattle show, RG Church, of Askwith, achieved four figures with two Aberdeen Angus-cross heifers sold for £1,112, or 176.5p/kg, and £1,110, or 180.5p/kg, both to Dawn Meats, of Carnaby, Bridlington.
RG Church was again to the fore in the opening cast cattle show with two British Blue-cross heifers sold at £1,055 and £1,033, both 145.5p/kg, to, respectively, S&JS Thompson, of Gargrave, and JF Thompson, of Preston.
