Yorkshire-born author Stuart Hammond has published a novel featuring Elizabethan Yorkshire – and in particular Bolton Castle in the Dales.
Minion is described as a gripping story built on actual events and characters as Spain prepares its first armada.
Stuart is now working on its sequel, Serpentine. It and further books set in Yorkshire will probe more into the fascinating and turbulent relationship the county had with the complex politics of the day.
