Ilkley treatment centre holds open day at its new base
10:00am Tuesday 15th January 2013 in Local news By Amanda Greaves
A centre that provides a haven for a variety of therapists and clients seeking treatments and guidance has moved.
The Ilkley Happiness Centre, previously based in Leeds Road, opened up its new base on Railway Road, Ilkley, this month, and held an open weekend on January 5 and 6.
The event gave visitors a chance to look around the new facilities, meet the therapists and get signed up for New Year sessions.
The centre is planning new events and workshops, as well as playing host to its established therapists and new joiners.
Maggie Pashley is offering her Metamorphic Technique and Body Code and Emotion Code, the centre is hosting crystal and magnetic healings with Peta Gelder, plus sessions with Emma Fotherby and her Crystal singing bowls, and it is welcoming new hypnotherapist Josie Fraser.
One of the centre’s founder members, Kiran Nahal, practises Shiatsu and reflexology.
Other activities run at the centre include Whirling Dervish sessions, and reading with Sufi Master Irshad.
A new addition to the centre’s management team is fitness instructor Joe Fearnley, who will help founder Kimm Fearnley with the running of the centre.
