Otley Lions' festive fundraising success

Festive fundraising in Otley and Pool-in-Wharfedale has raised more than £5,000 for good causes.
Otley Lions raised £5,139 by teaming up with Santa Claus to hold sleigh rides in the area and a Santa’s grotto at Stephen H Smith garden centre in the run-up to Christmas.
Street collections were also held in Pool and Otley and further funds came in from a collection at Waitrose supermarket in Otley and donations made at the 2012 Otley Christmas Tree Festival.
The Lions, who will use the proceeds to support a variety of local, national and international causes, say they would like to thank everyone who helped and contributed.
