Shoppers added another £800-plus to an Ilkley supermarket’s charity appeal with a draw to a trolleyful of groceries.
Tesco in Springs Lane, Ilkley, held the draw with the top prize the £100 trolley dash. The winner was Kathryn Tysoe who was said be delighted.
In fact, no time limit was set on her “dash” and she completed her shopping trip at heir leisure. Shoppers bought £864 worth of tickets for the draw, which goes towards the supermarket’s fundraising for Cancer Research UK. So far the appeal has raised £4,200.
