A company’s managing director has paid tribute to 29 employees who have served almost 600 years between them.
A special awards presentation and lunch was held by Rawdon-based Airedale International Air Conditioning to thank its employees for their combined 580 years with the firm.
Small systems team leader Graham Collins, of Rawdon, and sheet metal welder Kevin Topp, of Bramley, each received a 35-year award.
Managing director Clive Parkman said: “It has been a challenging year but the success of our business can be attributed to your commitment, for which I thank you. Longevity and continuity is as important for the business as the need to keep bringing in new people and developing our apprentices. I look to you to provide guidance to new employees so we have the right mix of experience and fresh ideas.”
He added: “Our ethos is in ensuring continuous improvement throughout the company backed by an on-going commitment to develop a first-rate workforce with world-class training.”
