Police held a day of action in Yeadon to clamp down on speeding and anti-social behaviour.
Officers set up a ‘mobile police station’ in an exhibition van on Queensway, during the Neighbourhood Policing Team multi-agency action day.
A speed gun was deployed on Queensway and in the surrounding streets, but no vehicles were found to be breaking the limit. High-visibility anti-social behaviour patrols were conducted and crime prevention advice leaflets were handed out.
Five offender management/anti-social behaviour visits were carried out and police off-road motorcycles were deployed in the area.
A number of NPT multi-agency action days have been held around Leeds in recent months.
