Guiseley children getting hooked on sport of Thai boxing

An MP got an insight into Thai boxing when he joined students and parents at an open morning in Guiseley.
Stuart Andrew MP, whose constituency covers Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough, was welcomed at the event to promote activities offered by Aireborough Thai Boxing Fitness Academy, in partnership with Guiseley Affiliated Football Club.
The Academy offers young people and adults the chance to take part in the martial art of Muay Thai boxing. “It’s good to know that people of all ages can enjoy such a diverse range of activities within their local community,” Mr Andrew said. Free half-term activities are also being held on November 1 to give children a Thai boxing training taster session.
