Choristers had something to sing about when they performed at Milan Cathedral.
Sing Live Northern recently added the cathedral to its list of famous venues.
The group, which includes singers from Guiseley, Horsforth and Otley, has already sung in the Vatican in Rome, St Mark’s Basilica in Venice, Vienna Cathedral, Salzburg Cathedral, The Esterhazy Palace, Schonbrunn Palace and the Royal Albert Hall, among others.
Their feet are now back on the ground as they prepare to rehearse in Horsforth for their forthcoming concert – celebrating 15 years of Sing Live – which is a little closer to home in The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. Visit singliveuk.com or call (01609) 780315 for details. There are no auditions to join; there is a minimum age of 16 but no upper age limit.
Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at St Margaret’s Parish Centre in Horsforth.
