Ilkley Grammar School held its first Careers Fair for many years on Wednesday.
The fair was open to all students and parents, with a focus on those students in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 making current career choices.
The school welcomed local firms and multinationals alike, with stalls ranging from educational choices to accountancy, PR, retail, law and finance. The Fair also hosted the Armed Forces and Air Force.
Mrs Gillian James, head teacher, said: βThe Careers Fair was a really impressive event β the number of stalls, the enthusiasm of the delegates, the enthusiasm of our students, the vibrancy and business-like atmosphere, the range of opportunities on offer. Parents were also very complimentary and valued the chance to sample and discuss careers and see their children focussed and exploring options. The delegates too, were positive and felt it was all very worthwhile.β
