Children at Ben Rhydding Primary Primary School enjoyed the spring sunshine by building a bug hotel in their school garden as part of their work to create habitats for wild creatures. All members of the school Eco Team were involved and the project used lots of recycled objects the staff and children had found.
Melissa Morton, a parent at the school, and who has her own gardening business, came along to help out with the building work.
Everyone was incredibly pleased with the finished hotel, which will be known as Buggingham Palace – a name dreamt up by pupil Iona Lee-Wardell.
