Sixth form students at Guiseley School have raised more than £1,400 for a charity which supports teenager cancer sufferers.
Students and staff joined forces to raise £1,466 with the annual RAG (raising and giving) week. Events included splat the teacher, a penalty shoot-out, a non-uniform day for the whole school where everyone donated a pound, a bun sale, face painting and hire a helper where students were auctioned off as helpers for a day.
The money raised will go to the Emma Maltby Memorial Fund which supports teenagers who have been diagnosed with cancer. The fund strives to make life better for children, teenage and young adult cancer patients.
