After studying taekwondo for three and a half years, at the Taerigi-Do Academy in Ilkley, Westville House pupil, nine-year-old James Burke, has been awarded his half purple belt. Half purple is one of the higher belts, with only purple and half black before the full black belt. He attends lessons once a week.
