AN MP has visited an Aireborough kitchen company to mark it's tenth anniversary.

Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland went to HÜGEL Kitchens, which was set up in Guiseley but is now based in Yeadon.

Directors Melissa Walsh and David Tate started the business ten years ago, after David had started making kitchen fittings as a hobby.

The couple then decided to use David’s skills to start their own business.

Mr Mulholland said: "It was fantastic to visit HÜGEL Kitchens and see the work that David and Melissa are doing, and to hear the story of how they came to start their business.

"It is great to hear how the business started from David’s hobby, and is now an established business. This is a brilliant success story, and a great example of entrepreneurship, and I hope that they continue to grow during the next ten years."
