Guiseley School pupils are putting on a fashion show in support of Fairtrade
Students will take to the catwalk to celebrate the award of Fairtrade status to their school.
A Fairtrade Fashion Show will be staged at Guiseley School next week, and the public are being invited to attend.
The event, on Thursday, May 10, is being held to celebrate the recent award of Fairtrade School Status and to support World Fairtrade Day.
Students will model a range of clothing from Traidcraft, People Tree, Bishopston, Namaste and Neema.
There will also be an opportunity for ‘Divine’ chocolate tasting and to browse stalls selling Fairtrade food, drink, clothes and gifts.
Doors open at 7pm and the fashion show will begin at 7.15pm. The evening will finish around 8.30pm. Tickets cost £3 for adults and £2 concessions, and include complimentary refreshments and a raffle ticket.
Tickets can be bought via the main school reception or, alternatively, can be reserved by contacting the Fairtrade Committee by e-mailing guiseleyfairtrade@gmail.com.
