A special diamond jubilee fun day will offer advice and free tennis equipment.
The event at the Ilkley Lido on Saturday is being organised by the Ilkley Tennis Club and the Ilkley Soroptimists to attract more people to the sport.
Rackets and balls will be lent out for free for families to take part, between 1.30pm and 4pm.
“We will lend you a racket and balls and help you to enjoy playing on the courts and the wall,” said Alan Cutts, a club coach.
“Families, children and adults are all welcome. We are planning an afternoon to get you all hitting balls for fun and fitness.”
Jo Thornley, president of the Soroptimists, said children who come wearing a home-made jubilee crown stand a chance of winning a prize.
