Two Benton Park sixth formers have won accountancy scholarships. Adam Fryer and Jemma Hampshaw (pictured) will have their university fees paid as they study while working for two top accountancy firms.

Adam successfully applied to KPMG – taking part in two online reasoning tests, a situational judgement test, two interviews, a one-to-one presentation and a further written assessment.

Jemma succeeded with her application to Kaplan, the first stage of the interview process was a phone interview, where she was given the questions to prepare beforehand.

Following this, she had to create a presentation to say why she should win the scholarship.

Jon Cresswell, head of sixth form, said: “These are highly-competitive scholarships and it is a tribute to their ability, and hard work, that they were successful.”
