TWO men from Bradford are in custody after being arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and burglary.
Police received a call in the early hours of today (Wednesday) reporting suspicious activity at a property in Thornton-in-Craven.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "A short time later we arrived at the location and found two men sat inside a van.
"During a search of the vehicle we found equipment often used in burglaries, including balaclavas, pliers, wire cutters, screw-drivers, gloves and a hooked implement.
"The equipment was seized and the two men, aged 26 and 34, were arrested and taken into custody for questioning, where they currently remain."
