A Yeadon charity will benefit after a law firm set out to help 40 good causes to mark its 40th birthday.

Ison Harrison, which has offices in Yeadon, Otley and Ilkley, has revealed the first twenty good causes, including Memory Lane in Yeadon.The activity and day centre is a specialist service providing day care in the community for older people who have dementia.

The selected good causes will be helped with cash donations or gifts. The other 19 charities are spread across the region from Leeds to Sheffield. A further 20 charities will be announced in December.

Jonathan Wearing, managing partner said: “We wanted to mark our 40th anniversary in an impactful and memorable way and decided that giving back to good causes in the communities we work in was the way to go.”
