MOORFIELD School is delighted to welcome their first male head teacher Mr Paul Baddeley and new head boy, Jackson Whewell, who joined the school four years ago.
Ten-year-old Jackson said: “It feels special when I am holding the door in the morning. The moment I became head boy was one of the most exciting moments I have experienced. I feel really happy because I know that I am the first head boy ever at Moorfield!”
Mr Baddeley, an experienced head teacher from Cambridgeshire, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Moorfield and look forward to building on the many strengths of the school whilst maintaining the values and ethos that make it such a special place.”
The school became co-educational in 2011 and over 30 per cent of pupils are boys. Visit moorfieldschool.co.uk for more information.
