AHOY there visitors to Bolton Abbey!
The beauty spot now has a new pirate ship 'moored' on a pop-up beach outside the Cavendish Pavilion.
The riverside attraction, which was unveiled on Yorkshire Day (August 1) and proved an instant hit with youngsters, will remain anchored at the spot throughout the month.
Deputy Visitor Manager for Bolton Abbey Estate, Jen Duckworth, said: "The pirate ship is already a wash with children enjoying playing on deck, walking the plank and of course going overboard on the pirates' pole!
"It’s the perfect spot for parents to enjoy a refreshment from the Cavendish Pavilion whilst the children are ‘all hands on deck’."
