A YOUNG Persons Fair is being organised by MP Stuart Andrew to help with jobs and different aspects of growing up.
Mr Andrew, who represents Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough, has organised the event to give young constituents the chance to find work. They will also be able to get help and advice on issues such as mental health support, money, and social media bullying.
Mr Andrew said: “Providing our young people with the best start to get on in life and have a rewarding career is an area very close to my heart. It is very important that we support youngsters through whatever is troubling them and I will be getting in touch with local businesses and a range of other organisations. I can confirm that Leeds Samaritans, LGBT and the Job Centre will also be attending and there will be a presentation from Leeds Trinity University on the university applications process and how parents can support their children through it.
The Fair is to be held at Crawshaw Academy on Robin Lane in Pudsey from 12pm to 7pm on Friday, October 5.
