Aireborough Historical Society will hold its 14th Chit Chat event at the end of June.
The public are invited to drop into the session to see photographs of the area and share memories. The event will take place from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, June 30, in Yeadon Methodist Church Hall.
Archivist Carlo Harrison said some of the photographs were “amazing”and would evoke memories.
He added: “If you are new, or even if you have been to all our Chit Chats over the last three years you are very welcome, just come and go as you please, no entry fee and refreshments are available.
“I will read out a description for the photos which are projected in large format onto the wall of the church hall.
“The photos cover the whole of Aireborough and its near neighbours and are a mixture of old and more modern images.
“We should show you about 100 photos within the two hours with comments and explanations by me and memories shared by you.”
