RESIDENTS and businesses can find out more about the Otley Flood Alleviation Scheme this week.
Representatives from Leeds City Council, the Environment Agency and consultants WSP will discuss the plans when they are in town on Tuesday, October 17.
Anyone interested in finding out more is invited to attend the drop-in session which runs at Otley Core, on Orchard Gate, from 4pm to 7pm.
Leader of Leeds City Council, Otley resident Councillor Judith Blake, said: “We would encourage as many people as possible to attend to find out more and give us their views, as local people have a key role to play in helping us to get this right."
Otley suffered extensive flooding on three different occasions at the end of 2015 - which led to the Government announcing £2 million to fund flood alleviation measures.
