CANTORES Olicanae choir invite you to get ‘In the Mood!’ at their Summer concert on Saturday, June 10 at 7.30pm in St John’s Church, Ben Rhydding.
The concert will feature a collection of choral classics from The Great American Songbook. There are songs by Cole Porter, Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart and Jerome Kern in a variety of styles: tender love songs, up-tempo jazz, sophisticated close harmony and show stoppers. The programme also features the Songs and Sonnets from Shakespeare with music by George Shearing.
The choir will be accompanied by the Robert Sudall Trio and led by their Musical Director, Rory Johnston.
