THE CONSERVATIVE candidate for Leeds North West is claiming that votes for him would strengthen the UK's hand in Brexit negotiations.
Alan Lamb, a Leeds City Councillor for the past decade, owns and runs a restaurant and catering business in Wetherby, where he lives.
The 40 year old, who is also a keen musician and has played in several bands, said: "It is a real honour to have the chance to be the next MP for Leeds North West.
"Theresa May would provide the strong and stable leadership this country needs through Brexit and beyond.
"Every vote for me in Leeds North West will strengthen the Prime Minister's hand in those Brexit negotiations.
"The alternative is a coalition of chaos led by Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnell and Diane Abbott.
"The people of Leeds North West deserve a local MP who will always put their interests first - I can and will be that person."
