The people of Ilkley are being encouraged to vote with their taste buds. A team from Booths took to the streets this week to drum up support for their fresh local produce.

Armed with the finest fresh seasonal produce, team members from Ilkley Booths made their way through the town, giving out samples to residents to drum up support for the many exclusive, locally sourced ingredients available to them right on their doorstep.

The campaign trail saw the Booths team canvassing in the town, bringing their expert customer service and expert knowledge of fine food and drink to the people and encouraging them to reclaim dinner times with the delicious produce available in their Ilkley store.

The Booths brigade encouraged local people to support their local suppliers, with samples of Shephard’s Purse ‘Yorkshire Settle’ cheese, fresh locally picked strawberries, flapjacks and artisan crackers being a particularly big hit among those who pledged to ‘Vote Booths’.

Store manager Rachel Costello, said: “We’re really proud of the expert personal service and exclusive products in our store, so this campaign trail was a great opportunity for us to bring the Booths experience out of the store and onto the streets of Ilkley.

“We showcased some of our most popular products, and the response from residents was very encouraging. At Booths, we’re pledging to 'make food great again' and after rallying up local support, I’m looking forward to seeing many new faces paying us a visit and making the most of the delicious food we’ve got on offer.”
