FIREFIGHTERS freed a woman from her car following a crash in Bramhope this morning.
The incident, involving two vehicles, took place at Church Hill's junction with the A660 Leeds Road at about 8.40am on Thursday, March 23.
Police, paramedics and two West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue engines from Cookridge and Rawdon attended the scene, beside St Giles Church.
The fire crews rescued one woman from her damaged car and two people were taken to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, a clinical supervisor and a HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) to the site.
The accident caused traffic tailbacks in both directions for a couple of hours afterwards.
