A WOMAN has been sent to crown court to face charges of burglary of thousands of pounds of property from businesses, including an Addingham golf club.

Lucy Garrod, 28, is jointly charged with a Bradford man with five burglaries said to have taken place between March and May, 2016.

Garrod denies entering Bracken Ghyll Golf Club, Addingham, on March 13 and stealing £25,500 of clothing and sports equipment; of entering Carrs Billington Agriculture, Gargrave Road, Skipton, on May 3 and stealing £1,169 in cash; of entering Naylor Myers, Snaygill Industrial Estate, Skipton, on May 6 and stealing £2,068 of tools; of entering Skipton Hire Centre, Carleton New Road, Skipton also on May 6 and stealing £200 in cash, and of entering Billy Bob's Ice cream Parlour, Calm Slate Farm, Halton East, on May 15 and stealing £3,550 in cash and electrical goods.

Garrod, of New Lane, Low Bradley, appeared at Skipton Magistrates' Court where she denied all charges and when her case was adjourned to Bradford Crown Court for an initial hearing on January 20.
