THE Right Reverend James Bell, Bishop of Ripon visited All Saints Weston Church on Tuesday, November 1st November for Holy Communion for All Saints Day and the Restoration of the Ancient Bells.
Robert Cater from the Diocesan Advisory Committee addressed the congregation about the significance of these bells, perhaps in the top ten oldest in the country.
The Washburn Valley Choir sang beautifully during the evening. A spokesperson said: "It was a lovely candle lit service, where the ancient bells were chimed when they were rededicated by the Bishop, it was a special occasion."
