ARRIVA Yorkshire has confirmed planned industrial action for Monday will go ahead despite further talks today with Unite’s Trade Union committee.
The 24-hour strike will begin at 3am on Monday, November 14.
During this time limited Arriva bus services will operate within Yorkshire. All Yorkshire Tiger services remain unaffected and will run as normal.
Nigel Featham, regional managing director for Arriva Yorkshire and North East, said: “Further talks with the Trade Union committee were held this morning but unfortunately the planned strike action will go ahead. We want to apologise to our customers that we were unable to avoid this situation.
The dispute is over pay and driving hours.
Arriva operates services in the Kirklees and Leeds areas, including Cleckheaton.
