Record A-Level Results at Horsforth School

More than a third of all grades awarded to young people at the school were at A*/A, significantly higher than the national average.

A spokesman said: " A 'typical' Horsforth student left our Sixth Form with the equivalent of three grade B’s at A-level. This, combined with a close to 100 per cent pass-rate for the seventh consecutive year, has ensured that all of our students will progress successfully and we wish them all the very best."

Dr Paul Bell, Headteacher at Horsforth School said: "Our staff are so proud of the exceptional results gained this year and our thanks go, not only to our students for their professionalism, but to our Governors, parents and carers who have been so supportive over many years."
