NURSING home residents were evacuated by staff when a fire broke out in one of the bedrooms.
Fire crews from Idle and Rawdon fire stations were called to Ghyll Royd nursing home in Ghyll Royd, Guiseley, at 7.30pm today.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames in the ground-floor room.
Nobody was in the room at the time and no-one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A fire service spokesman said the cause, possibly linked to a bedside lamp, was being treated as accidental.
