TICKETS for the 9th Annual Ilkley Beer Festival are due to go on sale.

Event organisers, Ilkley and District Round Table, who expect tickets to sell out quickly once more, will put them on sale at The Flying Duck in Church Street, Ilkley, between 10am and 1pm on December 5.

More than 20,000 pints of real ale, beer and cider, as well as wine and soft drinks, have been ordered for the event, which runs on February 5 and 6.

The 2015 Ilkley Beer Festival raised in excess of £42,000, all of which was donated to charities and worthy organisations within Wharfedale district.

Tickets are priced at £5 for the Saturday afternoon session and £7.50 for Friday and Saturday evenings.

The afternoon session will run from 11am to 4pm, while the evening sessions will open at 5.30pm on Friday and 5pm on Saturday and run until 11pm.

Tickets are also available by post for those living outside the area, and will be limited to four per application. Postal applications should be addressed to: Ilkley Beer Festival Tickets 2016, c/o 31 Leeds Road, Ilkley LS29 8DP. Applications should include a cheque made payable to Ilkley and District Round Table, and a stamped addressed envelope. Applicants should also state the session(s) required – Friday evening, Saturday afternoon or Saturday evening.

Online ticket sales will be available through the ilkleybeerfestival.org.uk website from December 8.
