Cyclist injured in crash north of Otley
A CYCLIST is being treated for chest injuries following a crash on a rural road north of Otley.
The man was injured in a suspected collision on Askwith Moor Road, between Otley and Blubberhouses, at lunchtime on Tuesday, October 6.
North Yorkshire Police were called to the scene at 1.35pm and the cyclist was taken by Yorkshire Air Ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary.
The police's collision investigation team also attended and the road is still currently closed in both directions.
Anyone who saw the accident should contact North Yorkshire Police by calling 101 and choosing option one, for the force control room. Reference number NYP-06102015-0233 should be quoted.
