FIREFIGHTERS attended a fire in the basement of Leconfield House in Cowpasture Road, Ilkley, at 9.30pm yesterday.
Appliances from Ilkley, Otley, Rawdon and Silsden were mobilised after reports of a fire in the basement of the flats.
On arrival the crews found the garages were heavily smoke logged with the fire confined to a mobility scooter.
They used breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two positive pressure ventilation fans, to tackle the fire and clear the smoke.
No one was injured in the incident.
